These terms cover the Nayestan website (nayestan.net) and its app. By using Nayestan you accept them. Last updated: October 2026.

1. Content and copyright

The text of the Masnavi’s couplets is in the public domain. Nayestan’s commentary, reflections, meanings and notes, the translations Nayestan made, the structure of the lessons, and Nayestan’s design and software are Nayestan’s own work, and all rights in them are reserved.

Some translations (such as those of the ayahs, the hadiths, or the English verse translation of some couplets) belong to their translators or publishers and are used with permission or under their source’s terms; they are credited in “About Nayestan”.

2. What you may do

Nayestan is for personal, non-commercial study. You may read, write notes, and share couplets with others using the Share button or with Nayestan’s name and a link to it.

3. What you may not do

• copy, republish, sell or publish the commentary, the reflections or any other members-only content, in whole or in any substantial part, anywhere (a website, an app, a book, social media, or a dataset for training AI) without written permission;
• access it automatically: bots, crawlers, scripts or any other way of taking content in bulk;
• get around the access limits, or let others use your account to reach members-only content.

4. Your account

An account is for one person, and keeping your sign-in safe is up to you. Nayestan may limit or close the access of an account that does not keep to these terms.

5. Ranks, passes and support

What each rank and each bought pass opens is described on the “Support Nayestan” and “Rank & subscription” pages. Payments are made through PayPal.

6. Changes and liability

Nayestan is offered “as is” and may at times be unavailable or change. These terms may be updated; the date at the top shows the latest change.
